Owlet recommends washing your Sock and sensor every 2 weeks at minimum to avoid skin irritation caused by a soiled Sock and sensor. Wash by hand with a mild detergent and cold water

Does the Smart Sock work for multiples?

A: Yes, the Smart Sock works for multiples and each baby needs their own Smart sock and a Base Station unit. Each device can be added to the Owlet app to view babies live readings in the same app

Will the Smart Sock work if my Wifi turns off?

A: Yes. The Smart Sock communicates with the Base Station even in the event of Wifi disruption. It will notify you with lights and sounds if your baby's heart rate or oxygen drop below preset levels. The Base Station is your primary notification device.

Can my baby wear footie pjs or a swaddle with the Smart Sock?

A: The low-profile design of the Smart Sock was designed to be worn under footie pjs, a sleep sack or a swaddle.

What is the difference between the Owlet Smart Sock 2 and Smart Sock 3?

A: The Smart Sock 3 has entirely new hardware and design. With the changes the sock now fits babies both bigger and smaller from 5lbs. to 30lbs. It also monitors babies through gentle motion, so you get live readings more often. The redesigned Base Station offers wireless, drop-and-go charging which is a huge time saver. Get an 8 hour charge in under 20 minutes and a full 16 hours in 90 minutes.
